Power FM DJs- What happened to Squilla?

Can somebody tell me what really happened to Squilla. I remember during his last show on radio that’s Friday on PBS, he was saying that he will be putting up a show at the new Flammingo Drive Inn Saturday night. That was the last time I heard Squilla’s voice. The next time I heard the mentioning of my favourite dj’s name was during Hazvinei Sakarombe’s (DJ Chilly) show on Sunday. She was just saying “something terrible happened to Squilla” without mentioning what happened. A certain caller tried to ask Hazvi what had happened to Squilla but she chose to give a deaf ear and diverted the issue.

I feel Power FM is not doing justice to its listeners because I feel it is our right to know what happened to our best dj. Rumour has it that he is in hospital. We are only made to understand that something happened to him in the early hours of Sunday and I am sure he was coming from Flammingo.

Power Breakfast show has never been the same without Squilla. Ofcourse Power FM has tried to fix in the best djs but I just feel the emptiness. I miss Squilla on air and it has proved that no one can make a replacement to fill in that space.

I wish Squilla a speedy recovery and hope he will be back on air soon. I am also sure mudhara Zobha is having a tough time without Squilla. Knowing Zobha the way I do, whoever did anything to Squilla has had far too many insults from Zobha. I can not wait for Squilla to be back on radio back-to-back with Zobha.
