The Rasta man’s speech

I could never do such a wicked thing me lord,

Me robbing another man me lord?

This man be full of dedication,

To smear Rastafarian reputation,

My locks represent my devout Nazarite vow,

My essence dissuades me from hurting a fly,

I breathe to abound the populace with joy and glee,

Accentuating the true meaning of camaraderie,

My black stands for wisdom, justice and trust,

I shun evil with sincere disgust,

My heart pure, without covet and greed,

Nothing could stoop me down to a petty thief…
