Will rise
Ruthless Dictators
Psychological spectators
In this drama
Unmoved by a white mama’s cry
As she watches
Her farmer son die
Murdered by misled youths
Was veterans my ass
They pour on the land
Like leeches on my black skin
Sons of thieves
With government guns
They kill with no remorse
I feel a sense of lose
We can never be
What we were
When we were a people
Years from now
Our children
With tears in their eyes
Reflecting on our history
A sad story
From my heart
I am truelly sorry
For my brothers killing the farmer
They are blinded by greed
So they commit evil deeds
Oneday the spirit of the dead
Will rise
Bring misery to the nation
And their future generations
Reformation Report with Pastor Tom
I following Pastor Tom Deuschle’s blog www.reformationreport.com . There a number of fascinating posts. One of the recent posts is called ‘Have your say’. Its about the constitution, it encourages people to participate in the constitutional review process, I like the way he ends it.
”For Zimbabwe this is a critical time in their history and could set the course of the country towards greatness or towards what we have witnessed in most of Africa: Lawlessness, and all of the social and economic woes that accompany such a spirit.”
Have your say in a better Zimbabwe!
Arnold Schwarzenegger Marketing…True Story
“The Arnold Schwarzenegger Marketing Lesson”
Years ago, Arnold Schwarzenegger taught me an extremely important marketing lesson… Here’s the story (true Story):
As a kid, Arnold Schwarzenegger was a Hero to me. Saving the world, killing aliens, busting the bad guys…and of course…that bike (who could forget the Terminator Bike).
I loved him so much so, that I decided, I would launch a ‘Nick Name Branding Campaign’. The goal – to get my friends to call me…
‘The Maxinator’
(You know, from Arnolds Terminator Movie?). Or even ‘Max Soutternegger’. Had a ring to it.
What followed was one of the most important marketing lessons i’ve ever learned.

If you’re trying to build a brand, then you absolutely need to do this one thing…without it - your efforts are all wasted. Check it out on the Bizsetup blog.
The 16 Days Campaign- background and 2009 theme
Filed under: Entertainment, Arts & Culture, Family, Friendship, Community
Zimbabwean women artists have come together over the last three years to old a 16 Days Concert. This year the concert takes place on 28 November at its traditional venue, the Book Cafe. Here is some background to the 16 days concept:
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence is an international campaign originating from the first Women’s Global Leadership Institute sponsored by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership (CWGL) at Rutgers University in 1991. Participants chose the dates, November 25, International Day Against Violence Against Women, and December 10, International Human Rights Day, in order to symbolically link violence against women and human rights and to emphasize that such violence is a human rights violation. David Coltart comments on GPA talks
“Zanu and the Mutambara group simply do not know what to do. If they agree to do what the region wants, they are dead in the water.” Eddie Cross writing on his blog on the 21st November 2009 asserting that the MDC M is deliberately delaying the finalisation of the GPA talks.
This is an outrageously false comment about the MDC M which bears no relation to the facts.
We all in MDC M want the GPA implemented urgently and fully. We fully supported what the region asked for. I personally had a lengthy discussion with President Kabila’s principal advisor Mr Ilunga Ngandu on the 3rd November 2009 impressing on him the need to attend to all of the outstanding issues. My colleagues have done the same. I have been present in Cabinet and know what has been said by all of us there. Arthur Mutambara’s statement made when the disengagement started is a matter of public record. Indeed it was Mutambara who clearly articulated for the first time that the SADC communiqué issued in the January 2009 could not be ignored, something Zanu PF was trying to do.
And as for the allegations that MDC M are responsible for the delays since Maputo consider the following: Read more

Act your way to success
“… A nap here, a nap there, a day off here, a day off there, sit back and take it easy-do you know what comes next? Just this: You can look forward to a dirt poor life with poverty as your permanent house guest.’ Proverbs 24:30-34(The Message Bible)
The most horrendous temptation that haunts humanity today is the temptation to sit back, relax and let nature take its course. Sadly, some of our spiritual leaders have also come to accept this and are always claiming “God has ruled”. As a result, this has inhibited humanity’s ability to grow because when we don’t act, we are bound to shrink.
Each one of us has dreams, dreams to be successful, dreams to be healthy, dreams to have a wonderful marriage, to be loved, to love, to have wonderful kids, the list is endless. Dreams are a natural gift from God and he gives them in huge proportions. It is however up to us to act on those dreams and bring them to fruition. It’s a two way thing; God gives you dreams and you act upon those dreams. Read more

Towards Alignment was recorded from ‘Solo Encounters with Dudu Manhenga’ over four days at the beautiful REPS theatre stage in March 2009, a daring move by the young diva to get closer to her audience in a setting where the finer nuances of her music could be more fully appreciated. “I feel more alive on stage than in the studio, and the studio does not allow for that spark of spontaneity - an occasional joke, or sharing of my life experiences - like I am able to do during live performances” she said.
The hidden challenge of a live recording, of course, is that there is no room for error, and the first recording has to be the best recording; it cannot be repeated in the live setting. As evidenced on the CD, the live performances revealed Dudu reaching a new level of delivery, a new high in quality, the achievement of a production of international standard - something of which Zimbabwe can be proud.
