Do you have a story to tell?
Every individual, who has experienced life on planet Earth, has a personal history to relate about his or her journeying through life, whether they know it or not. In life there are numerous histories being made by people from all corners of the globe and from different cultures but no two journeys are the same.

Why this lady still calls Zimbabwe home
The article by gogo entitled “I want to go home” struck a chord in me. It seems that it’s a shared sentiment by millions of Zimbabweans in the Diaspora and at home. I came across this article by Kate Chambers which resonates with the same feelings for the mother country.

Christian Science Monitor- The soldier sauntered out from behind the barrier, fiddling with a rifle slung across his chest. We had reached Zimbabwe’s Birchenough Bridge, a dusty settlement five hours from the South African border. The soldier peered into the car window. He was young, in his early 20s, I’d guess. “Why didn’t you stop?” he asked. Not for the first time, I wondered whether we were right to return. Read more
I want to go home!
I was minding my own business at work when I suddenly heard a familiar greeting: “Unjani?” Looking back I expected to meet the typical wekumusha or at least someone of colour. Nope, some white dude. If I had been in the UK, or the US for that matter, I wouldn’t have been startled.

On one pavement there was a group of Chinese teenagers break dancing to a gospel song. A few metres away were some young Nigerian men giving away Islam literature. Read more

The 13 best ways to make money in Zimbabwe

Harare Hummer: Whilst Europeans and Americans are trading their big vehicles for smaller ones to save fuel, Hararians are competing to buy the biggest cars they can.
While the world media focusses- and rightly so- on the poverty and political strife in Zimbabwe, there are those who are making raking in the big dollars and remain seemingly unaffected by the politics of the state.
The streets of Harare show off new cars every day. Hummers, Prados, BMWs and oh yes the ever popular Mercedes Benzes.
It is said that Zimbabwe has one of the highest numbers of Mercedes Benz vehicles per capita IN THE WORLD! Dig that.
But how on earth do people make so much money in an economy that is said to be the worst in the world, in a country with the highest inflation on earth- it’s in the millions now, and in a place where the politics have been very jittery for a really long time.
Here’s how: Read more
